What We Grow
Arkland Farm has been a growing operation every year. We started off very small and only produced a few crops. We have really amped up quantities and varieties of crops this year. We currently have a small area dedicated to corn. This year for the first time ever, we will also have a small pumpkin patch (growing small and large pumpkins). We are growing four different types of tomatoes including Roma, Cherry, Beefsteak and Yellow Pear. We are planting all bell peppers (green, yellow, red and orange) and jalepenos, squash and zucchini. Of course tomatoes, squash and peppers aren't new to our farm, but the variety and quantitites are! Other newcomers this year will include okra, potatoes, green and red onion, cucumbers, and lettuce. We also are growing herbs including basil, oregano, cilantro and chives. Check back for updates!
